How Long Is the Rhinoplasty Recovery Process?

The recovery process in nose surgery may vary depending on the condition of the operation. Generally, you can start walking around 4-6 hours after the operation and eating if there is no nausea and vomiting. After the surgery is completed, a tampon is placed in the nose, these tampons can be removed after staying in the nose for about 1-2 days. If there are no complications after the nose surgery, you can return to business life after a period of 7-10 days. Swelling and bruising after the operation is quite normal. These bruises will lighten in about 1 week and 10 days. We recommend that you sleep with your head up during the healing process.
